Snowing -- really coming down... and stuff.

Today --
Snow...heavy at times.
Additional snow accumulation of 4 to 6 inches.
Highs around 30. North winds 10 to 20 mph.
Snow. Total snow accumulation 10 to 16 inches. Brisk
with lows in the mid 20s. North winds 15 to 25 mph.

(in another note:"Radar indicates a band of heavy precipitation
moving into the central
Maine coastline and southern foothills. Inland of a Portland... to
Wiscasset... to Belfast line... this precipitation should fall as all
snow. Expect snowfall rates of 2 inches an hour to develop between
100 PM and 300 PM.")

And there's flooding in Portland Harbor, oh my.

We have both the laptops juiced up, and a couple UPS units they could also feed off
if they need to. I'm backing up to the USB key periodically, and so is Rolanni...

Most recent amazon.com ranking of Crystal Soldier: 717...
It was 1447 at 3:30 Tuesday afternoon, then
someone noticed... and since 752, 563, 486, 438, 439, 381, 356, 404,
430, 508, 609, 700 -- that's first dozen readings after amazon started it's email notification
of Lee & Miller buyers.... Perhaps I'll put up more
when I have time.

For the moment, Jerel and Kay are looking for The Gravity Well on Tolchester;
they're not sure why, but they need to be there.

Lunch as planned: some of Rolanni's lentil soup, with hot biscuits.

I did bake the snow storm cake -- devils food. Will have some later.

If you're following the Jack Chalker situation:
Jack's been moved on an emergency basis --

I'd like to write 12,000 words today.... snicker. I'd like to. I don't expect to.
Call me a pessimist.

Got my mile and a quarter in on the treadmill while watching the snow out
the big window... gotta get me another train video -- they're great to walk to.
